ORA Capsule Retreat
A concept project for a compact eco-retreat built around architectural capsules, with a multi-page website and booking flow designed and built in Framer.

I designed ORA as a compact eco-retreat concept, shaping the experience around four capsule types, a clear path to booking, and a visual system that keeps the architecture close to the landscape.
The final concept became a responsive Framer landing page with scroll interactions and a working booking flow, designed to make the idea feel complete without overcomplicating the experience.
The brief
Explaining a new kind of stay.
ORA started as a concept for compact, off-grid stays. The site needed to explain what the capsules are, show how the different options fit different types of stays, and make the path to booking feel straightforward.
Design direction
Keeping the architecture close to the landscape.
I wanted the capsules to feel warm and comfortable without overpowering the site around them. The compact footprint and prefabricated structure became part of the website story too.

Four capsule types, built from one system.
The four capsules share the same architectural base, but each is arranged around a different kind of stay.
Inside ORA
Making a compact interior feel open.
Storage is built in, the materials stay warm, and the large windows keep the compact interior from feeling closed in.
Framed Views
The large windows make the landscape part of the room instead of something you only see from outside.
Booking experience
Breaking booking into a few simple steps.
I split the booking into a few clear steps: choose a capsule, pick dates, add guests or extras, enter contact details, then confirm.
Built lightly
Planning for remote sites.
Because the concept is meant for places with limited infrastructure, I kept the supporting ideas practical: solar-ready systems, lower water use and prefabricated construction.
Solar Ready
Roof-integrated solar can support lighting, climate control and other essential systems when local power is limited.
Water Conscious
Low-flow fixtures and optional rainwater collection help cut everyday water use.
Prefabricated
Most of the capsule is assembled before it reaches the site, which reduces installation time and disruption.
Reflection
What started as a single-page concept grew into a full Framer site with multiple pages, responsive layouts, scroll interactions and a working booking flow. It pushed me to think about the project as one connected system instead of a set of separate screens.
